Building up my reputation as a mini thrill-seeker, I went zip-lining this week! It was such a blast. We went to Ozone Zipline at Camp Kern in southern Ohio. I remember volunteering with Leaders Club at Camp Kern with my friends years ago, so it was wild being back and recognizing places. The course we did consisted of 7 different zips. The first four were shorter to help us get used to 'steering,' and the last three were much longer, like 660-700 feet. They've got a river course with two lines that go over the whole river which sounded totally wild. I'll do those when I come back some day ;] Our two guides were really fun and gave us lots of Ohio and nature trivia. Our group of 8 was really fun as well.

There's Sam, about to zip over to us.

My mom was there too <3

My dad's got a weird fear of fun things sometimes, so he spent a couple hour hiking around the forest grounds while we zip-lined.

You've got to pretend to poop off a platform, right?

Right.

We saw some baby deer! I think we were upwind because they were totally unfazed by the sounds of zips.
I felt like I was walking on air! Especially during the last few zips which weren't under the canopy of trees. I looked to the right and there were hawks soaring and the sun was out, it was stunning.

One challenge was to get across this suspension bridge without touching the edge!

The whole group!

POW putting this next to my skydiving certificate
I so recommend zip-lining! Andrea and I are planning a Colombia zip-line adventure now.
