My Rocking, Exotic Spring Break...

... with my family in Toledo, Ohio.

Why This Spring Break Has Been Amazing
1. There's no snow on the ground here!
2. Petting my cat to sleep.
3. Don't have to close the bathroom door because no one's home during the day anyway.
4. Watching my brother play baseball (and win! Go Cougars).
5. Watching the Tigers during Spring Training.
6. New music recommendations from my dad.
7. Celebrated my mom's birthday.
8. Sleeping until 11.
9. Reaping the benefits of our VHS/CD/old book motherload in the basement.
10. Playing pool.
11. Glasses of wine and cooking spinach pesto lasagna.
12. Singing Elephant Love Medley at the top of my lungs.
13. Seeing old friends.
14. Getting ahead with school work (wooo nerds)

Better late than never

My second minimalist Cyclops white board art.
I bought this cool dish in Germany and use it as a tea candle holder

After an intense day of school, I did some minor retail therapy in the form of some new Wisco basketball shorts and a Street Pulse, the newspaper sold by Madison homeless.

This MASSIVE icicle has been chilling outside my bedroom for months. It's so cool.

Nail polish, iPod, pizzaaaa, Nic Cage on a mug, and an issue of Nylon- my celebration after submitting an 8-page German midterm.

Bucky Bucket List

The last four years, I've kept this sort of fluid ongoing list of Madison/UW related things I'd like to do before I graduate. I'm excited to have this summer and a fifth year to do more and more. But since I am graduating soon, I figured I could expand this list into more of a life bucket list. I've already accomplished so many things that I've wanted to do, so this list only takes into account future goals :]

1. Float in the Dead Sea
2. Go skydiving
3. Run a 10k
4. Become a licensed German teacher
5. Learn how to juggle
6. See the Grand Canyon
7. Attend a MMoCA rooftop film

Artsy Fartsy

I am now beginning my experimental white board art phase. Here's minimalist Cyclops:
ZZZZZZZAPPP!
The other week, I saw an amazing show by Astronautalis and Why? at the Sett. I couldn't pass up this limited show print poster! I even got Yoni Wolf and Astro to sign it :D

POW!
Current reading digs: Hawkeye by Matt Fraction. It's biting, exciting, and has funky art. I'm going through 4 issues a day atm. Finishing just means real-people reading, so I'm prolonging the last issue.
